LAREDO, Texas — Dr. Teresa Johnson Hernandez will officially announce her candidacy for the Texas House of Representatives, District 42, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the steps of the Webb County Courthouse, 1000 Houston Street, Laredo, Texas 78040.
Dr. Hernandez, a respected entrepreneur, community advocate, and lifelong Webb County residents, enters the race with a commitment to improving local schools, expanding healthcare access, supporting small businesses, and strengthening South Texas’s voice in Austin.
