Welcome to TeresaforTexas.com (“Site”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this Site and your participation in campaign-related activities, including volunteer sign-ups, contact forms, donations through third-party platforms, and optional email, phone, and text message communications.
1. Use of the Site
This Site is intended for personal, non-commercial use in support of the Teresa for Texas campaign. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Site.
You agree not to use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party’s use of the Site.
2. Volunteer Sign-Up
When you submit your information to volunteer, you represent that:
- The information you provide is accurate and complete.
- You are at least 13 years of age.
- You consent to being contacted by the campaign for campaign-related purposes.
We reserve the right to reject or remove volunteer submissions that are incomplete, inaccurate, or deemed inappropriate.
3. Email, Phone, and SMS/Text Communications
If you provide your email address or phone number, you may receive campaign-related communications from Dr. Teresa Johnson-Hernandez for Texas State Representative.
Text messages may include campaign updates, volunteer opportunities, event reminders, donation reminders, voter outreach messages, and other campaign-related communications.
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you are consenting to receive calls and text messages, including autodialed and automated calls and text messages, from Dr. Teresa Johnson-Hernandez for Texas State Representative.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Donations may be solicited. Reply HELP for help or STOP to end.
SMS opt-in will not be sold, rented, or shared. Mobile Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy apply. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information.
4. SMS Opt-In and Opt-Out
Opting in to receive text messages is optional. If a form on this Site includes a phone number field, the phone number field should be optional, and any SMS consent checkbox should not be pre-checked.
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP. After opting out, you may no longer receive campaign-related text messages unless you opt in again.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Donations via CashApp
Donations made to the Teresa for Texas campaign are processed through CashApp, a third-party fundraising platform. By clicking donation links on this Site, you will be redirected to CashApp’s website.
Please note:
- All donation transactions are subject to CashApp’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Teresa for Texas does not collect or store your credit card or financial information directly.
- Federal and state campaign finance laws may require the disclosure of donor information,
which we are obligated to follow.
